Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6)

Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ.  (Col 1:28)

Gathering Opportunities

  • Worship Service (Sunday 9:00 and 10:30am): Our Youth Group at Meadowbrooke Church is a ministry of the Church and should be involved in all parts of it. As Hebrews 10:24-25 tells us “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” It is crucial for our students to be part of the building up, spurring on, fellowship and unity of the Church in its entirety. Sunday Night Youth Group should not be a replacement for this, but rather a supplement.
  • Youth Group (Sunday 6:00-8:00 pm)
  • Where: The Modular at Meadowbrooke Church (north-west building)
  • What: We start our night with a time of fellowship, hanging out together and encouraging one another. We then play some type of large-group game. Then, the main part of our evening is singing praise together to our God, and spending time together unpacking His word, the Bible. Here at Meadowbrooke we want to be faithful to scripture, because the only thing, and the best thing, I have to offer the teens is the word of God.
  • Activities and Events: Meadowbrooke Church student ministry will sometimes have activities and events that happen throughout the week. These events are done with the goal in mind to build unity with each other while we encourage one another in our lives and spiritual walks. My goal is to make these events fun, engaging, and memorable, but for the purpose of shepherding and discipling towards making an impact in the world.
  • Reaching Our Community for Christ: The students will ocassionally have the opportunity to live out the two greatest commandments by loving God and loving people as we fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 22:36-40 & Matthew 28:18-20) as a group. These opportunities will be communicated to the students and parents in advance.
