Good Morning Meadowbrooke,

I am very much looking forward to seeing you this Sunday as we continue our time in Ephesians 6:10-13.  The last time we were all together, we considered what it meant to be strong in the Lord and how our strength flowed from Gods might (Eph. 6:10).  Ephesians 6:10 is the what we must do if we are going to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called (4:1).  The verse we will consider this Sunday is the How we can walk this way, and the way that we are able to do it is by putting on the full armor of God.  The reason why we must put on the Armor of God is so that we, will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil (v. 11).

I am convinced that the reason why we fall into sin or experience failure in the Christian life is that we are unaware of, or not alert to the schemes of the devil.  This Sunday we will consider how we can not only resist the schemes of the devil, but what practical steps we need to take to stand firm against his schemes.

I look forward to seeing you this Sunday in our 9:00 and 11:00AM worship services as we celebrate the victory that is already ours in Jesus!  Also, my good friend Ryan will be leading us in the music part of our worship.

Grace,

Pastor Keith
